Re: Declan...
I'm not really one to guess transfer fees, where he may end up, etc. Not much point. But he did us, and himself, a favour deciding he was English, doubt he'd be seen in quite the same light if he represented the ROI, plus it enabled him to impress at the Euro's.

You would think he will be offered a mega contact in the summer with only 2 years left then, we will know a lot more then about what his intentions may be.

We see a player around whom a successful Champions League squad can be built.

GSB see a big sack of money with "$$$" printed on it, scampering about the pitch Tom & Jerry style.

I totally agree with Moyes' comments that someone should have matched the asking price of a hundred million while he was at that bargain price.

Re: Declan...
If England lose either or both of these games, Declan will officially be declared indispensable, never to be allowed to be sick again.

Just to clarify.....

West Ham United can confirm that Declan Rice has returned to the Club from international duty with England due to illness.

The Hammers midfielder will miss the Three Lions' FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Albania and San Marino over the next week.

The Club can confirm that Declan’s illness is not COVID related.

He will now recover before returning to training at Rush Green ahead of the Hammers’ Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 20 November.

But obviously on a personal level I hope it's not too bad and he feels better ASAP.

Re: Declan...
Can't say I'm upset. He gets to rest up now and miss two games they didn't really need him for anyway. Plus none of the players from other clubs will be able to whisper in his ear.

Good news for WHU really.
